The subject of the Agreement is performed under the project ISOK – The IT System for Protecting the Country against extraordinary threats, co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund under priority axis 7 of the Innovative Economy Operating Programme, years 2007-2013.
Creating the IT system for protecting the country against extraordinary threats is to increase the safety of citizens and reduce losses caused by natural, technological and synergic threats. In particular, elements of the system which are to support the flood risk management should increase the safety of citizens and reduce losses caused by the recurring floods phenomenon in Poland via selecting areas threatened with floods as well as reducing economic expansion within those areas.
